RGB WORKFLOW
The JI's traditional requirement for color images has been that all images must be supplied in CMYK format. We are pleased to announce that The JI has moved to an RGB workflow, in which we recommend that authors supply color figures in RGB color mode. As the online journal and most of the digital devices used to capture images are based on the RGB color gamut, we have chosen to support the color mode that provides optimal reproduction online. With this new workflow, images supplied in RGB color mode will be preserved in RGB for online publication, but will be converted to CMYK at press for the printed journal.
