Finding/Removing Special (spot) Inks with Adobe Illustrator

To accomplish this procedure use Adobe Illustrator 6.0 or higher (recommended).

1.

Under the Illustrator "Window" pull down select Swatches if not already visible.
Click on the drop down arrow in the upper right of the Swatches pallet and scroll to Select All Unused colors. See screen capture below.

Click on the drop down arrow in the upper right of the Swatches pallet and scroll to Delete Swatch. See screen capture below.

The following dialoge box will display. Select Yes to remove the unused colors and resave the image.
